Playmobil is great for boys about 4 and up. There are a lot of small pieces that end up in our two year olds mouth, I am sure some have ended up in the stomach.

The walls are very sturdy, the cannon really shoots well. My 7 year old has 3 of those cannons, they have held up well for the abuse they take. One is broken the other two work well.

Our boys play with playmobil for hours. Great product if you can't think of what to get a 5-8 year old boy.

Buy playmobil, turn off the TV and video games, they'll get over it.
