I wanted to be able to charge in the comfort of my home AND the ability to charge in the field. I also wanted to be able to charge at true 10 amps EACH. This charger fits the bill and more. Yes, as with most of these chargers, instruction manual can be clearer in operating the device, but once overcome, the unit is feature-laden and robust.

You can charge a NiMH battery in one channel while charging a LiPo in the other concurrently. The "balance charging" for LiPo is what I use all the time for 2S and up LiPo batteries. Look at the product description. It can probably charge anything you can throw at it.

The device makes a little bit of noise occasionally from the two fans on the sides of the unit. One draws in air while the other pulls air out of the charger. The fans usually are not running unless you put the charger under load (say, charging a couple of drained 5400 mAh 6S LiPos).

My Thunder Power TP610ACDC now sits in a box collecting dust since I got this charger.
