The gondola accessory is a must for the swing set. Our 3 year old daughter loves it and can't wait for friends to come over and they have a ball on it. They can't exactly use their feet to make it go themselves so you have to push them when on it - though maybe as the kids get older they can figure it out.

Assembling it was annoying and I should dock it a star for that. The "Kettler Deluxe 4 Child Multiplay Swingset" sold in America has a square top but the gondola was made for the European version which has a round bar. We had to call Kettler to send us the correct adapter piece. So plan ahead if you are taking a vacation day to assemble this and check if you have the right pieces. Kettler was happy to take care of the problem right away. Also, you might need some lubricant for the gondola - ours squeaked a lot but that seemed to solve the problem.

I know it is expensive, but the gondola was a quality piece and got more use than the swings so I'm glad I purchased it despite some problems with the set up.
