I can't imagine more dreamy set for my child. She had her heart set on it
for a long while but the set is bit pricy so It took me a while to finally go ahead and order it. When it came it was like an instant fairytale out of the box.

The table comes in one box with the steam. I think that the name is bit misleading
as the name implied lightweight.. I personally would not like it if it was light waight as I would fear the balance issues since it should support the children as far as the stools and the table should have some substance to s upport seating at it and having something on it. Apparently it is just the right weight and so it is very sturdy and very well balanced.

The light weight part is the top - it is sort of hollow inside so you hear echo as you tap on it - however it is very strongly made and it does not seem cheap or thin. It is solid and seem to be enforced within.

Now the steam is very solid and heavy, I don't know what is the material used but
it resembles the plaster in weight, it is probably different material but it has the weight of plaster.

So when you put your set outside you don't fear that kids will just swing and fall of it or on it. The stools are solid, the table is not topple prone and so it is perfect.

The way they finished it - gorgeous. The table leg is totally mashroom leg, with the texture and painting allt he way up to the top that if you look underneath it looks totally all the way up as the mashroom leg. On the bottom of the leg you see detailing like grass and even little butterflies!!! how cute is that.

The stools are finished in the same fashion however don't have the grass or butterflies which is okay as it would be too much if you ask me.

The tops of the chairs and the table are consistently the same. The white patches
are gorgeous, they are sort of like "embeded" in the surface" they seem painted individually and with extreme care.

The hole set appears to be indeed hand painted and you can totally tell.
The red on the top mashrooms is beautiful and rich and intense and classy.

To assemble it all it took me was to take two pieces of the box: top of the table and leg and put the top on the leg and twist it few times and it was ready. It screws on the leg like top on the jar. There is a pipe in the stool that sticks out about half inch?? or an inch and the top has the other part to go with it so you just screw it with one easy motin round and round till it stops. No screws, nothing to break or loose.
Ideal.

The weight - I was able to carry the table once assambled without any effort wherever I wanted. It is bit heavy but not like you struggle with it, It is like good heavy. Solid and supportive. The stools are easy to carry around just as well.

oh and I had no idea that the company I was ordering from is part of Plow and Hearth and that is another plus as they are just so great when it comes to their products, always have the best selection and always have solid items.

Only thing to be careful when you order - make sure that what you order is what you need - they have few different listings and one is for just the table, another for table with two stools and another with table and four.. and yet another for just two stools, I think that it is bit confusing as some titles are not in line with description so if you want' to avoid dissapointment read the listings very carefully as they are bit confusing. So if you want table and stools, and not to end up with just the table, look carefully at all listings and even contact the seller to make sure which one is which. The table and stool set is absolutely perfect, however our table arrived first and we had not stools yet so my daughter however dissapointed that the stools are not here yet was using it with her little Pottery barn's table - white chairs and they worked as well and looked cute.

Lastly.. it worked fabulous when inside and it is absolutely perfect for outside.

I gave this set 5 stars and I would give more if I could, I think it deserves 10 stars easily! Beautuful and dreamy.
